It's exactly the kind of small town diner that I love. No fuss, simple food made well. We had a party of 7 that each ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food.

My wife and I had an awesome breakfast at Candy’s. The place has a delightful atmosphere and the food blew us away for prices. Would definitely recommend trying the big pancakes. Candy and the waitress were both incredibly friendly as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying at Devil’s Head but isn’t thrilled with their breakfast options, just a very short drive away!

I noticed this place as I was driving through Merrimac. "Cozy" is a word that defines this place. The whole operation is effectively run by one woman. The food was good and I had a little bit of everything. There were not many other patrons when I dined here, so service may have been faster than usual. The prices were very reasonable. I will be sure to return.

Small quaint diner near Merrimac Ferry crossing. Seats 25 people at most with 7 tables of which (2) are for just 2-people each. The other (5) sit 4-people each. Bathrooms are size of cleaning closet but clean and fresh smelling with dim lighting. Limited hours.

Cozy and welcoming. The food was excellent and home cooked by the owner Candy herself. Far better than those franchise dining places. Family friendly. Something for everyone. Well worth the wait if its busy. We'll be stopping back next time we're in town. Highly recommend.

The bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was PERFECTLY cooked. The burger was tasty! The side of sausage patties was crisply seared on each side and cooked just the way that I like. The young waitress was quite professional! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
